It’s already a busy place this season with home football games, new restaurants and now a new hotel. “I would love to see more restaurants and more venues for young people, outdoor beer gardens and a dog park,” Stenson said. The ideas are endless for Stenson when she dreams of what more could be built along the North Shore. “San Antonio has the riverwalk and that’s just an incredible opportunity for development and investment there’s a beautiful river there,” said Mary Lee Stenson who lives in Shadyside. But the people Channel 11 spoke to hope that’s only the beginning as they feel that stretch of town is full of opportunity. Over the years the North Shore has grown with our sports teams and restaurant district.
